Welcome! I’m your host, Kendra or ShopMom. I believe nothing in life is more precious than the fleeting time of pregnancy and babyhood (even despite morning sickness and incessant crying), so I strive to bring you helpful information about pregnancy and babies plus fun little shopping ideas to make this time in your life a little bit easier. I started Shopping for Two back in 2005 when my first son was but a wee little baby. Now I have two little boys (born Aug. 04 & Oct 06) who keep my days full.

We believe that:
- Despite the hardshops of pregnancy, carrying a child is amazing
- That you should really educate yourself fully about birth, so you know what to expect
- The best toys are simple and don’t require batteries
- Life’s better when you go green
- Saving money is fun, but so is shopping
- Good quality is priceless
- Synthetic logo-adorned clothes don’t belong on babies…or anyone else for that matter
- Tantrums are terrible, but little baby belly-laughs make it all worth it
- Moms deserve pampering more frequently than we think
- Baby wearing is fun
