This week is International Babywearing Week! Above is a photo of myself wearing my son last year. He was sick with his fifth cold in a row and in need of some desperate cuddle time. That’s the fantastic thing about babywearing, even though it was just before dinner and all he wanted to do was cuddle and all I wanted to do was cook dinner, we could accomplish both tasks happily. Happy Baby, Happy Mom.
If you’d like to read more about what I’ve learned about baby wearing click here. Otherwise, go check out other babywearing moms at Adventures for Babywearing and if you link to her with pictures of you wearing your baby you could win some fantastic baby carriers from Nonny & Boo!

I love your picture! Is that a wrap you are using? How do you like it? I have been wanting to try a wrap or mei tai. Take care!
Ah, sick babywearing. I got lots of snot on me but it kept him calm!

Miche - That is a wrap that I’m using and I love it! Of course I love my mei tai too, but I think the wrap is more comfortable.
FireMom-Yes, snot I got a lot of snot all over me, but that’s okay, I’m washable!
Babywearing is so wonderful when your baby is sick. It just gives them so much comfort.
Found you on the Mr. Linky for the Adventures in Babywearing post. LOVE your photo. My 3 year old always wants to be worn when she’s not feeling to well either. Glad to see your blog!
